2004 DPS UK registered and
licensed, whole black Dales stallion.
Imported to the US in 2005 from the
UK. He is the son of a well known
and accomplished Dales stallion,
Waterside William II a champion
Dales pony in hand and under
saddle, and out of a well known very
traditional mare, Wheatside Lady
Rose, a champion in hand, under
saddle, and in harness. He is was
the first Dales Pony from this line to
come to America. He is also rare for
this line as he has a lovely pony
head and small in tipped ears which
is sometimes uncommon in
Wheatside and other lines of Dales.
He is a largely Wheatside bred but
with some added Stonerigg, Burdon,
and Oakley lines to help "mellow"
the Wheatside line a bit which is
known for a producing a little hotter
or more sensitive type of pony.
Dan's half sister is Manorian
Mischief, was many times
Champion Dales filly at many
prestigious events such as Ponies
UK. His full sister Thornville Rose
was a multiple winner in hand and
the producer of a the top winning
filly for 2009, his half sister
Thornville Gem was reserve
champion Dales mare, and the list
goes on and on.
Dan is a proven producer of quality
foals with sweet dispositions and
fabulous movement. He possesses
good looks, traditional conformation,
fabulous disposition, very
traditional Dales movement, and an
uncanny presence. He is a star
everywhere he goes.
