Welcome to the World of the Dales Pony!
The Dales pony is one of the worlds rare breeds. Here at Baroque Farm we are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Dales pony in the United States. It is our goal to bring about awareness to this endangered breed so that others may come to love it as we do, and the world can help to prevent the breed from extinction.
Baroque Farm has worked hard to locate and import uncommon lines of Dales ponies into the U.S. to help broaden the gene pool. We have specifically sought out lines known for their traditional qualities, show winning abilities, athleticism, and above all, temperament. We have all colors of Dales pony with exception of roan which is a color we have chosen not to breed from.
We find it of great importance to keep all of our ponies registered in the U.K. to adhere to strict breeding standards, and to ensure that our lines never be left out of the English gene pool. ALL of our ponies are FIS CLEAR. You may read about the FIS genetic mutation on our Dales Pony information page. It is of great importance that we test all ponies being used for breeding to ensure that the mutation does not continue to grow into our breeding lines further.
We do NOT stand stallions at stud to the public !
